My name is Siele Leonardo Soro, and I am a motorcycle racer with Romagna in my heart and Florence as my home. Since I was a child, I have nurtured a burning passion for motorcycles, training every summer on the track in San Mauro Mare FC, where the great Valentino Rossi trained before me.

Born to a single mother and with a mix of Italian and African heritage, I always knew that I would have to work twice as hard to achieve my dreams. My life has been an epic journey of successes and challenges, but I have never stopped believing in myself.

From my early years, I faced obstacles that shaped me. I remember my mother’s sleepless nights, exhausted because I couldn’t sleep. Everything changed during lunch at my grandparent’s house when my mom turned on Raisport2. The curves of the skiing, the constant and reassuring sound, finally brought me peace. Then, one spring afternoon, I discovered motorcycles. Those races captivated me and involved me so much that I would fall asleep exhausted.

At three, I sped around on a small, battered bicycle, trying to imitate the racers I saw on TV, leaning so far that I ended up with a deep cut on my forehead. But my passion didn’t stop. My grandfather, a bit exhausted and a bit curious, took me to a minimoto track. At five, I tried a rental minimoto and felt right at home. That’s how my career began.

At six, I competed in my first championship, finishing second by the end of the season. My career continued with successes and sacrifices, supported by a normal family doing everything to help me chase my dream. Between 2020 and 2021, I competed in the official Yamaha single-make championship, fighting for top positions despite technical issues.

In 2022, thanks to my sports results, I was chosen by the QuartoDiLitro team from the University of Padua to develop their prototype. In 2023, I participated in the world competition in Spain at Motorland Aragon, finishing first in my category.

My racing career began with the CENTRAL ITALY CHAMPIONSHIP in 2011 and since then, I have never stopped:
– CENTRAL ITALY CHAMPIONSHIP CAT. FIRST STEPS – 2nd place (2011)
– CENTRAL ITALY CHAMPIONSHIP CAT. FIRST STEPS – 1st place (2012)
– MLK ASI CHAMPIONSHIP CAT. JUNIOR HOBBY – 2nd place (2013)
– ITALIAN MOTO ASI FINAL CAT. JUNIOR SPORT – 3rd place (2014)
– CENTRAL ITALY TROPHY CAT. JUNIOR SPORT – 1st place (2014)
– ITALY UISP TROPHY CAT. SPRING – 5th place (2015)
– WILD CARD CIV MINIMOTO (2016)
– YAMAHA R3 CUP – TEAM GRADARA CORSE (2020-2021)
– Collaboration with the University of Padua team (QuartoDiLirtro) (2022-2023)
– Champion in the world competition in Aragon (2023)

Despite the difficulties, I continue to fight for my dream, inspired by my family and cultural heritage. I want to be an example for all those young people who believe that dreams can come true if you work hard.
